Establishment of Osool & Bakheet Investments

Osool & Bakheet Investment Company, is a Saudi joint stock company (Company resulting from the merger of Osool Capital Company and Bakheet Investment Group). It was listed on the parallel market (Nomu) through a capital increase to 81,000,000 Saudi Riyals. The company is licensed by the Capital Market Authority (CMA) of Saudi Arabia (License No.: 08126-07), and registered in the Ministry of Commerce with a CR No.: 1010219805 (starting from 05/02/1427 H and ends on 01/05/1526 H). OBIC activates was commenced directly after obtaining the CMA license in 19/11/2005. The company got listed in the Parallel market on 07/11/2023 with Tadawul code 9586, as the first financial market institution to trade in the Saudi stock market.

ALMA’ATHER REIT FUND

The fund aims to invest in real estate assets within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia capable of generating periodic rental income, and distribute no less than 90% of the net profits of the fund annually. Additionally, the fund may invest secondarily in real estate development projects on the condition that:1. The assets invested in developed real estate generating periodic income do not constitute less than 75% of the total assets of the fund according to the latest audited financial statements, and 2. The fund does not invest its assets in undeveloped land.

Abdullah Al-khurayef

Mr. Abdullah Al-Kharif has over twenty years of experience in various banking, commercial, and industrial sectors. He began his practical experience in the banking sector early in his career, then progressed through various positions within the Al-Kharif Group until he became the CEO of Al-Kharif Trading Company in 2015. He has had various involvements in the maritime sector, including being the Vice Chairman of the Maritime Activities Committee at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce. From 2014 to 2017, he served as the President of the Saudi Arabian Marine Sports Federation, and from 2022 until now, he has been a board member of the Saudi Arabian Marine Sports Federation. He has also joined the board of the Riyadh Chamber and has been the Chairman of the Industrial Committee at the Chamber since 2020. Additionally, since 2020, he has served as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Riyadh Economic Forum, and since 2019, he has been the Deputy Chairman of the National Committee for Local Content. Furthermore, he currently holds positions as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Salafah Finance Company, Rokhaya for Agricultural Investment and Development, Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Saidan Real Estate Company, and Saudi Automation Center. He is also a board member of Ibn Abdullah Ibrahim Al-Kharif Sons Company. In 2018, Mr. Abdullah Al-Kharif was elected to the board of directors of Osool & Bakheet Investment Company, eventually becoming the Chairman of the Board in 2023.

Abdulrahman Al-Yahya

Mr. Abdulrahman Alyahya has extensive experience in the banking and investment sector spanning over three decades, during which he held numerous positions throughout his career. From 1983 to 1994, he worked at Saudi French Bank in various roles, culminating in the position of Treasury Head for Customer Affairs. Then, from 1994 to 2001, he served as Assistant General Manager and Director of the Investment Group at Saudi Dutch Bank. In the period from 2001 to 2005, he held the position of General Manager of the Investment Group at Saudi Investment Bank. Subsequently, from 2005 to 2015, he served at Osool & Bakheet Investment Company (formerly Osool Capital) as Executive Director, later assuming the chairmanship of the board of directors. Additionally, Mr. Abdulrahman served as a board member of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul). He was recently elected as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Osool & Bakheet Investment Company starting from October 2018.

Khaled Al-Mousa

Mr. Khaled Al-Mousa possesses over twenty years of experience in the financial and banking sector. From 1985 to 2001, he worked at Saudi French Bank, where he held various positions, including Regional Manager for the Central Region, Manager of the Special Services and Investment Group, and later served as Manager of Personal Banking Services for the Central Region. He then moved to Bank AlJazira from 2003 to 2004, where he served as Manager of the Banking Credit Group. Subsequently, from 2008 to the present, he has worked as the Manager and Owner of Kaysab Company, specializing in real estate development and contracting. He is also one of the founders and a board member of Osool Capital since 2005, and after its merger with Bakheet Investment Group, he continued as a board member of Osool & Bakheet Investment Company.

Beshr Bakheet

Mr. Beshr Bakheet is regarded as an expert in the field of investment, being a member of the CFA Institute with over thirty-seven years of practical experience. He began his professional journey from 1988 to 1993 at Hoare Govett, then moved to Union Bank of Switzerland before joining Credit Suisse Asset Management, where he held several positions. In 1994, he founded Bakheet Financial Advisors, and in 2006, he established Bakheet Investment Group, which later evolved into Osool & Bakheet Investment Company in 2014 and was listed on the Saudi stock market, Tadawul, in 2023. He has served on the board of directors of Tadawul, along with several other directorships in listed companies. Additionally, Mr. Beshr Bakheet serves as a board member of Osool & Bakheet Investment Company and Chairman of the Board of Investment Funds. Mr. Beshr Bakheet has conducted numerous lectures at regional and international conferences focusing on financial markets in Arab countries. He has authored hundreds of articles on Saudi and Arab financial markets published in various Saudi, Arab, and international media outlets, in addition to providing economic and financial commentary for international news agencies such as Reuters, Agence France-Presse, and others, as well as participating in interviews with Arab and international television channels. He is a graduate of Ohio University in the United States and Keio University in Japan.

Wael Al-Sarhan

Wael bin Mohammed Al-Sarhan is the Chief Communication & Support services in the Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), his broad experience, spanning more than 19 years, contributes to the development of the areas of communication, public relations, events, and support of executive services at SAMI. Wael’s experiences and positions are varied. In addition to his position at SAMI, he holds the position of Chairmen of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Federation for Robotics and RC Sports. He also occupies the position of Chief Advisor to the 22nd Asian Games, Riyadh 2034, as well as the position of Board Member at Osool and Bakheet Investment Company. Throughout his professional career, Wael Al-Sarhan held several leadership positions in companies and institutions in both the private and the public sector, where he previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Marketing at the National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) He also served as Assistant President at the General Civil Aviation Authority, General Manager of Marketing at Flynas Group and Director of Marketing and Communication at Flyanas

Mazin Al-Dawood

He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Osool & Bakheet Investment Company. Prior to this role, he held the position of Chief Investment Officer at Finsher Capital Saudi Arabia. Before that, he worked at Shaheen Capital as the Head of Investment Banking, overseeing several investment operations. He also served as a Senior Manager in Investment Banking at Saudi Dutch Bank and previously worked as an Assistant Director in Mergers and Acquisitions at ABN AMRO in the United Kingdom, participating in numerous initial public offerings in the Saudi financial market and various international deals across diverse sectors. Additionally, he has served on the board of directors of several companies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Portland State University and later obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Cass Business School, City University in the United Kingdom.

Mohammed Zakaria

He currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Osool & Bakheet Investment Company, bringing over 18 years of practical experience in the financial sector. Throughout his career, he has held various positions within Osool Capital, including Director of Information Technology. In this role, he was responsible for managing and developing the company’s information technology infrastructure and applications, as well as providing advanced/competitive electronic trading services to the company’s clients. In 2012, he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Aswaal Financial Company. Following the merger, he was appointed as the Chief Operating Officer of Osool & Bakheet Investment Company.

Additionally, Mr. Mohammed Zakaria published a scientific research paper in the Journal of Information Science in 2009, which is among the top 5 scientific journals in the field of information technology worldwide. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Jordan University of Science and Technology in 2004 and obtained a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the same university in 2006.

Hisham Tuffahah

He currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer, possessing over 19 years of experience in investment and asset management. His career in the financial and investment sector began in 2003 when he worked at Bakheet Financial Advisors before it transformed in 2006 into a licensed financial institution, Bakheet Investment Group. Since then, he has held several positions, starting as the Head of Investment Research in 2007, contributing to the publication of numerous analytical reports on companies and the financial market during that period. In 2009, he assumed the role of Acting Head of Compliance, Anti-Money Laundering, and Counter-Terrorist Financing, followed by serving as the Head of Asset Management in 2011. In 2012, he moved to work at Alinma Investment Company as a Fund Manager, and in 2014, he joined Mulkiyya Investment Company as the Director of Private Portfolio Management. He participated in establishing the company’s operations and launching several investment products. Since then, he has held various leadership positions at Mulkiyya, including serving as the Chief Investment Officer and Acting Chief Executive Officer from 2016 to 2017. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Financial and Banking Sciences from An-Najah National University in 2001 and has obtained numerous accredited training courses and certifications.

Joshy George

Joshy George currently work as Chief Technology officer, Supervising Information Technology Division. He has more than 30 years of experience. During his career, he held many other positions such as Acting Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Head of Investment and Financial Information Technology Division, Secretary for Audit Committee, Secretary for Nomination & Remuneration Committee, Member of Executive Committee, and Member of Recruitment & Placement Committee. He joined as the first employee of Bakheet Financial Advisors when it established in 1994. He designed and developed many investment related IT systems and applications for the firm. He started his career as a Computer Programmer with Apple Industries Ltd in India. He received his Bachelor Degree from Mahatma Gandhi University, India, in 1990 and a Post Graduate Diploma in computer applications from the National Computing Center, United Kingdom in 1992. He also obtained FinTech Course Certificate from Harvard University, USA.

Faisal Al Matrafi

Faisal Al Matrafi has been the Operations Management Director at Osool & Bakheet Investment since 2006, with over 27 years of experience in investment operations management. Prior to joining Osool & Bakheet Investment, he was part of the founding team of the investment operations management at Emirates NBD Bank. He also worked at Saudi Dutch Bank (SABB First) since 1996 in investment operations management at the bank.
