The total value of shares traded for the month ending 30 April 2018 amounted to SAR 107.97 billion, increasing by 23.31% over the previous month; while total stock market capitalization reached SAR 1,929.54 billion at the end of this period, increasing by 3.39% over the previous month.
- The total value of shares purchased by “Saudi Investors” during this period amounted to SAR 98.49 billion representing 91.22% of total buying activity, and sales of SAR 101.73 billion representing 94.23% of total selling activity. Total ownership of “Saudi Investors” stood at 92.82% of total market capitalization as of 30 April 2018, representing a decrease of 0.40% from the previous month.
- The total value of shares purchased by “GCC Investors” during this period amounted to SAR 2.21 billion representing 2.04% of total buying activity, and sales of SAR 1.87 billion representing 1.73% of total selling activity. Total ownership of “GCC Investors” stood at 2.14% of total market capitalization as of 30 April 2018, representing an increase of 0.08% from the previous month.
- The total value of shares purchased by “Foreign Investors” during this period amounted to SAR 7.27 billion representing 6.74% of total buying activity, and sales of SAR 4.37 billion representing 4.05% of total selling activity.
